On 6 February 2011 downtown Daegu found itself host to a flash mob. This mob was put together by the supporters of the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 in the middle of one of the busiest areas in downtown, Dongsung-ro. The performance continued for five minutes in the middle of citizen’s hot response.

Something flashed upon the giant screen in Dongsung-ro. What was shown was footage related the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011.
After the short video, a man suddenly jumped up on stage and started to tap-dance. Upon the completion of his dance, many people came out and continued to dance to the rhythm of song.
The stage was soon filled with participants.

Flash mob’s performance was concluded with the unveiling of a large banner of the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011.
