Preview in the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 - Day 3






On the third day of Championships, two events(100m hurdle, High Jump) of women’s Heptathlon, R1 of men’s and women’s 400m, R1 of men’s 3,000m SC and Qual B of men’s Discus Throw will be held in the morning session.

If you visit Daegu Stadium, you could enjoy various attractions and foods as well as events and can explore shops, restaurants and supporting company booths in the market street.

Six final events will be held in the evening session from 7 pm and men’s 110m Hurdle final should be most interesting event of them. 

The first Asian short distance medalist Liu Xiang and current world record holder Dayron Robles will compete for the first place.

In addition, men’s pole vault final will be held. Let’s look forward to seeing the birth of hero who will break the world record with 6m12cm achieved by ‘human bird’ Sergey Bubka. 

Women’s 400m final will be followed after men’s Hammer Throw final and women’s Shot Put.

The last event of evening session is women’s 100m final. American sprinter Carmelita Jeter and Veronica Campbell-Brown from Jamaica will compete for the gold medal.
