In the morning session of the fourth day, two events(Long Jump, Javelin Throw) of women’s Heptathlon, men’s High Jump, women’s Triple Jump, R1 of women’s 5,000m and men’s 1,500m will be held. Evening session will start from 7 pm and finals for women’s Pole Vault, men’s Discus Throw, women’s 3,000m SC, men’s 400m and 800m will be held and the winner of women’s Heptathlon will be born.
The most high-profile event is women’s Pole Vault Yelena Isinbayeva participated in. She has current world record with 5m6cm by breaking new records 27 times till now.
The challenger against her is Jenn Suhr who has record of 4m 92cm.
When the winner of women’s Pole Vault is decided, so called ‘martial arts in athletics’, men’s 800m event will be started. Let’s see whether the world record holder David Rudisha (with time of 1:41:01) will break new record.
The 3,000m SC final will be followed right after men’s 800m. Besides, men and women’s 400m Hurdle semi-finals and women’s 1,500m semi-final will be held on the same day.
