Watching point - 1. Short but electrifying event : 100m sprint

Currently, Usain Bolt is second to non in 100m and also has world record of 200m but other sprinters like Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell are not pushover.

Tyson Gay is the winner of IAAF World Championships Osaka 2007 with personal best record of 9.69 seconds which is behind little bit bolt’s one.

Asafa Powell also achieved world’s records twice before bolt’s appearance. He’s personal best record is 9.72 seconds.

Will Usain bolt win the gold medal by breaking world’s record easily or turnabout will come out that nobody expected?

What will happen in women’s 100m?

Jamaican women sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser won gold medal and Kerron Stewart got silver medal in the 12th IAAF World Championships Berlin.

Living women sprinter who has the fastest record is Jeter Carmelita from the United States.

We can’t tell women’s 100m without her. She achieved the second best record of 10.64s in women’s 100m in history and she got gold medal in Daegu Pre-Championship Meeting.

The 100m event, which has the most short event time within 10 seconds.

We can not take our eyes off for a moment. Sprinters are training very hard to run fastest within 10 seconds and some will get the glory of win and some will suffer a defeat after those time.

Hope you watch the electrifying moments of victory with your eyes lively in IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011.
