364,787 Tickets For The IAAF World Championships Have Been Sold!

364,787 out of 453,962 available tickets have been sold as of Monday, 11 months after ticket sales began on Aug. 27 last year. 


This is considered a splendid feat given that the 2009 Berlin edition, which attracted the largest number of spectators in the event`s history, sold 70 percent of available seats (397,000).


The LOC aims to sell all of the tickets before the opening ceremony.
