On August 9, 2011, the handover ceremony of official vehicle for the IAAF World Championship personnel transportation was held in Daegu Stadium.
As the official sponsor, Toyota Motor Korea promised to support 200 official vehicles during the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011.
On that day, Toyota’s representative hybrid car ‘Prius’ with the official logo of IAAF was on the show in Daegu Stadium.
Of course, the official mascot Sarbi was excited to see the official vehicle.
President of Toyota Motor Korea, Hisao Nakabayashi addressed that he is pleased to support official eco-friendly hybrid vehicle which is suitable for the purpose of the IAAF World Championship.
Co-President of LOC, Bum-il Kim replied ‘Thank you’ in Japanese and expressed appreciation for keeping the promise of support although Japan has been under the hard situation after earthquake.
President Hisao Nakabayashi delivered vehicle to Kim in person.
